I am a disabled Army Veteran and my heusband is retired Army Veteran…we hv one child, our beloved daughter, is 17 heading into her senior year and she is also a apart of the Rosa T. Beard Debutante Club in Augusta, of which the membership dues and the gown for Cotillion are steeply priced.
My parents are senior citizens in their mid 70’s and are currently facing a foreclosure and I just need some solid resources to help them either to save their home from foreclosure or to help them move to Augusta, GA with me.
It’s hard to get local free legal services for seniors to call me back, and when they finally called me back, I was assigned an attorney, however she has yet to contact me🤦🏾♀️
Due to the state of our economy and preparing for my daughter’s senior year and college, my hands are tied.
I also work full-time in Mental Health Services for all branches of our military full-time.
I do not have the financial means to save my parents home, nor to assist with moving. If I can get 200 Wino’s to donate $25 that would help and be a blessing to my family to help them move them from Pompano Beach, Florida to Augusta, GA. I am also trying to get a Power of Attorney to help them manage their finances.
If anyone has a Recommendation for an Attorney or a Estate planning attorney that won’t charge me a limb, that would help also. I recently did a consultation with Miami Family Law Group and they quoted me $675 for a Power of Attorney that would only cover only one of my parents, and it will be doubled to cover both.
