Black community (in my opinion) from 1900-1980’s have seen to be hush-hush about it keep them in the house meaning the person with the disability or mental illness or they make fun of. And that’s the most hurtful part. Growing up as a kid seeing other kids make fun of adult adults with disabilities was always awkward and being outcast or talked about due to family members with mental Illnesses made me a fighter lbs…. Now in 2026 I feel like white people get a pass for their mental illness and mental health like the lady who just murdered her three babies let her have been black ain’t no way it would’ve been a hung jury. Black people we will make fun of and tear down one another down, not all, but some, it seems like a lot, especially if you go on TikTok.
