My heart is still weeping for that baby. He, like a lot of children, may not have the wherewithal to properly articulate exactly how he feels, especially among strangers. He probably speaks freely in a one on one setting.

I don't care about either of them, its that baby that not only looks exactly like him, but also carries his Grandfather's 1st and last name and missing out on a sense of BELONGING with his siblings. ALL OF THEM, not just the 3 with Gisell...his Aunts, cousins...everyone. And there's no way anyone can make me believe that after anyone on the Bryant side of the family will continue to behave like this baby doesn't exist or feel no ways tired after seeing his face. My heart aches and weeps for the baby only!

I can only imagine what was the breaking point for Topaz when she decided to leave New Birth and the mental anguish it cost her. I don't know if I'm more sad, disappointed, or angry. I'm experiencing a myriad of emotions, to say the least, from the relatable trauma of it all.
