This is a really unfortunate situation, and I too have been through something similar approximately five years ago with my then husband. The only difference is, there was no weapon involved nonetheless, the police were called and they turned the matter over to the division of child and family services due to my then husband‘s aggression towards me in front of our child. Nonetheless, I relocated and moved and filed a temporary restraining order and was granted that and used that to divorce my then husband via publication which means you convinced the judge that he can no longer be located, and I was able to prove that because of his previous behaviors resulting in the DA filing charges against his psycho ass ….
