I think Reggie treated him wrong. He was rude, disrespectful, annoyed with Tranell, did not like Tranell's personality or viewed him as weird and weak. I feel Tranell got pushed to his limit after being threatened, tormented, and bullied. Whatever the last incident was, it was the final straw for him

Talking about Reggie hygiene, his borrowing things, guns pulling, changing personality of Reggie, Reggie's bullying, Reggie touching his things, and so on triggers him while speaking about it. It gives he was tired and frustrated with Reggie. It is giving that he snapped, completely snapped. Almost borderline a hate, not jealous or envious... but despised him deeply
