I get why robert townsend said that.. as a white woman continously saying “black queens “ seems performative… It makes the women sound like paupers and you presenting yourself as a “white savior.” Race is a complex topic as we know it. You can adress the women affected without using black queens.. just my observation. Doesn’t take away from you getting this story out for the good of the women affected. 💕
