My 4 month year old is being schooled by TK (in the uk 🇬🇧) whilst I clean and do laundry. New mum at 44 is exhausting 😅

Absolutely wild. I’m not buying her excuse at all. She told her daughter to k*ll herself and she appeared to be too invested in the teen bf. Never mind her pretending to be someone else and saying those sexual acts. Absolutely diabolical. Wayyyyy too much time on her hands and issues.

Both 😅

I hear the woman who said you will be perceived as black first over your sexuality. However that doesn’t negate the fact queer people face discrimination and different experiences. Merely walking down the road with your partner can be an issue. Being ostracised by your black family because of your sexuality. Or you can’t travel in your honest queer relationship because countries do not permit it (which is their right).

If you don’t live the lifestyle I think it’s very dismissive to deny queer people of their plight. Being black is not monolithic, there are many intersectionalities of the human experience and identity.

Whether Ethnicity, nationality, gender, sexuality, disability…. Who are we to tell people what someone should pick, prioritise or how many they should subscribe to. The experience is very different.

I don’t think that people should be forced to watch things they don’t want to, regardless of sexuality. I’m not offended by snoop but most people accept heterosexual implied loving relationships in kids shows. Without over sexualised scenes therefore same gender couples should be represented too.

Jasmine loved hearing your perspective. I think over sexualisation is a much bigger problem overall than same gender relationships.

It sounds like some people prefer for queer people to remain out of sight out of mind.
