I think if Netflix would have called it Monique’s real life stories on stage, it would have been better received. When you hear comedy special you are expecting more jokes. Also, it should have been some introduction of who she is before she got on that stage. New fans would have a better understanding of Monique. The great thing about entertainment is, you can always try again.

I think you should create a mini documentary and monetize off this situation. Because you know someone will try to make money off this story. You could talk about your story and talk about how freedom of speech is changing for for bloggers and journalists. Maybe do a special.🌺
