John a very young boy responding to feeling rejected. It’s not uncommon for children & people in general to lash out in some form as a defense mechanism when they’re not equipped with the skills to cope effectively. At this point there no way he understands how to check his emotions & manage his anger, or know why he even should. That’s learned in stages & oftentimes from a trained professional and/or wise guidance.

Again, he acts out because of his inability to make sense out of senseless, he doesn’t feel validated, or comprehend this situation is based off the mentality & decisions that resulted from his horny parents - John only wants to feel what he perceives it feels like to have an active dad, but since Jamal directly refused to acknowledge him, he acts out.
Considering the number of b/m who have experienced and/or inflicting abandonment trauma on millions of children, the sooner he & children like him are provided with healthy outlets, the better.
