Freddy P- from Making the the Band- gives one of the BEST depictions, during his interview on "The Art of Dialogue" of what it's like from a victim's standpoint of unexplainable behaviors in a relationship with someone like Diddy.

If you haven't been in a domestic abusive relationship, also while being fed drugs and alcohol at such a young age before your brain is fully developed, you wouldn't understand Stockholm syndrome and the measures the victim would go to, to appease their abuser. Cassie isn't perfect, but the psychological abuse is often far times more dangerous than the physical. It can confuse the hell out of a person. Diddy is dangerous and needs to be locked up.

I feel differently about Cassie and disagree, but I'm not about to be windmilling in the comment section.
