What’s really going on with Akbar is that the little girl who was abused, neglected, and criminally mistreated has never been healed. Therapy will help with that healing. The reason why she fights easily is to protect the little girl Valerie who was unable to protect herself. I wish I could talk with her. She has yet to realize that the people she has been beefing with don’t have nowhere as much to lose as she does.

This is one of my favorite interviews. It is great to see the humanity of Akbar V. Everyone wants to write her off for being entangled in so much drama but do not care to understand her path that made her get entangled. I pray for her healing. She is a REAL rap talent that deserves her shine.
