I feel a little uncomfortable hearing this young man "airing out his mother's dirty laundry". It's his story to tell about his experiences, but he's still really young. He will have a different perspective of his mother once he matures to maybe his 30s. His views seem that they may be a combination of his experiences mixed with the opinions of family.
I feel like we're peeling back his layers a little too soon in life.
I'm not judging his mom as right or wrong, but I am 58 years old, I have a different viewpoint in life from when I was 35, from when I was 25, from when I was 18, and from when I was in childhood. If I was to think about how I viewed my childhood in different stages in my life, my viewpoint has vastly altered over the years. I later began to see life through different lenses as I matured and came to understand things like finances, mental health, alcohol use or abuse, marriage, trauma, family complexities, healthy/unhealthy relationships, etc.. Plus the fact that is mom was part of that Celebrity Lifestyle.
