Hi Tasha,

I’ve been a wino since day one from YouTube to this amazing platform. I really need to share something with you regarding the sexual abuse allegations against Larry Reid. As a survivor myself, from the age of 5 yrs old to 16,at the hands of my brothers father I wholeheartedly believe lavontre. I am a bit disturbed to be honest by the response of grown adults to this man’s experience. I have given this much thought and I really think people need to be educated on the many nuances of sexual abuse and the psychological impact it has on the victim. With that said, can you please take a few minutes to educate the ignorant!! There is such a thing as Stockholm syndrome. Oftentimes the victim will continue to have care and concern for the abuser due to the nature of the relationship. This was also my personal experience. Sexual abuse does not always cause the abused to hate the abuser and distance themselves. Also, let’s talk about the fact that depending on the abuse it might not always feel bad. When the act being performed feels good it’s very confusing for the victim. There is so much I want to say but I don’t want to make this too long. I am asking that you give the public a clear understanding of some of these nuances so they can stop being so spiritual that they are being blinded to the truth. I have been leaving similar comments on other platforms covering this story but I have yet to hear anyone explain Stockholm syndrome and the physiological impact of sexual abuse. I think this information would be extremely helpful to those who are spectators and also to sexual abuse victims that may not have this knowledge themselves. This just might help to bring #justiceforlavontre. Tasha, thank you for being the powerful black woman that you are! Please keep your heel on the necks of these pastors, profits $$$, and pedophiles. ❤️
