Herpes is a virus, needs an antiviral treatment like Acyclovir, Zovirax etc. Doxycycline is an antibiotic, can be used to treat STI’s like chlamydia, gonorrhea, even a UTI. So I don’t think Akademics is using doxy to treat herpes necessarily but maybe it can help with the symptoms.
