I get that part, too.

Oh! And I was a successful lash artist with high end clients (surgeons, professors, attorneys, real estate agents, news anchors, etc), and I had to stop bc I developed allergies to the base ingredient in lash adhesive. I transitioned to nails and had to stop bc I didn’t realize that the chemical was in all beauty products. That’s crazy to think that it could be intentional bc they know Black women do well in the beauty industry.

It’s crazy being from the 305, and I hadn’t caught wind of Geisha. Thoroughly enjoyed this interview while I meal prepped. Down the line, bring her back Tasha! 💜

The way he just casually came with that Bow Wow wine. I bet all the Winos had the same expression like, “Say what now?” 😂😂😂 He has a big heart, and I like the work he’s doing. There are programs out there for domestic violence survivors, too, and he is right about having to jump through many hoops for resources.

Hey Peaches I’m going to email you now for the Telegram link from Cha’s Beauty Charms.

These interviews were interesting to watch. I’m glad the husband was accountable for his actions. It seems like they had no business being together 26 years 😩 especially if he cheated for 23 of them. I find it interesting that they think their children won’t end up in abusive relationships when the chances of that happening are very high because of the environment they grew up in. I’ve learned that we all default to the programming of our nervous system. Our nervous systems are built based on what our parents modeled for us. The only way to combat that is therapy, coaching and self-work. They should also be aware that abuse shows up in many ways, not just physical. I witnessed domestic violence growing up and vowed to myself that I would never be in abusive relationship. Little did my little brain know that abuse is also psychological and emotional, and sure enough, I would find myself, later in life, in an psychological and emotionally abusive long-term relationship. What most people may not know is psychological and emotional abuse is also considered domestic violence. I got out of my situation six months after waking up. I hope Nikki heals and develops the self-love she needs to model a healthy relationship with herself for her children.

He did say he was hurting. Bilaal is going through it. I still think it was a good interview.
