Is Marriage still necessary, or is it outdated for our generation?

Perfect topic because I’m 26 and got married at 18 during my senior yr and everyone thought I was crazy but 8yrs later im still married with 2 beautiful children. Marriage is still very much necessary. It’s all about who you marry and your reasons

My mother in law is stable for now but she is still sepsis. We are trying to gather fund to get a lawyer because there are decisions that need to be made but my husband needs to get gurdianship or POA over his mom. He already filed a petition in the courts pro se but he doesn’t have any legal knowledge so a lawyer is needed. Thank you for keeping my family in your prayers
