I had to take a moment to post a comment because I lost like a million, trillion, gazillion brain cells listening to this interview. If "taking accountability, while not taking accountability" was a person, her picture would be on full display. In your whole statement, one word stuck out to me...Abusive. The rest is typical stalking that can become dangerous. I'm no therapist or legal adviser, so this is just my opinion, but I would be documenting EVERYTHING in preparation to file a restraining order. Keep in mind that with some people, reporting them to the authorities can make them become violent if they already have those tendencies. I wouldn't tell anyone who is encouraging you to go back with your ex, but I would make sure plenty of my other family and friends know what's going on. If you already have your documents together, I would catch a 48-72 hour "virus" on a Thursday night, call out of work on Friday and head down to the courthouse. I would sweep my car for a tracker or ask the police if they would do it before going out of town for the weekend. I would turn location off on my apps and stop posting on social media platforms. My trusted circle would be the only people who would know where I am at all times and my "sweetheart" would be my protector.

If you feel you can trust you're safe from your ex, then ignore my unlicensed advice. Otherwise, protect yourself in EVERY way legally. Some may say I'm over vigilant, but I've lived and seen some things. Do what's best for you. If you're happy in your present, why revisit your past? Our exes are that for a reason.
