I watched this interview and had to sit in it for a long while before I commented. Normally y'all know I look for the best in every exchange but a few things disturbed me. 1) If all of this was going down, and Bilal knew about it way back when, and all he wants to do is "stop Jada", why not just turn over the rest of everything to the proper authorities? He has enough traction now for them to take him seriously. It reminded me of a story Tasha K broke years ago, but I couldn't remember the name, so I went looking and it just so happens that a Wino respected content creator sent me down the right path. Who remembers the Brother Polight story and how allegedly Saneter knew about his proclivities but did and said nothing? Watching this reminded me of that situation...The fast talking, not finishing a story through distraction, and thinking of ways to draw it out for the next big payday. 2) How did Bilal actually protect Tasha from possible prosecution? We all know she has tightened her platform that all she has to do is yell, "Cheick, call the lawyers," now because the receipts are locked up and protected! To me, it was said to woo the Winos. I may be wrong, but that's what I felt as soon as he brought that up and Tasha had to keep asking him how she got in the family group chat and on the Christmas card list. 3) Sensationalism over doing the right thing just doesn't sit right with me especially when it involves young people whose prefrontal cortex hasn't fully developed yet. Is it entertaining? Possibly. But to me, this invokes more of a money grab than justice being sought. This is PERSONAL. Because if you believe that Jada is this sick, and Bilal is hinting that Will is guilty of some things/acts, yet Bilal is only going after Jada on the "Justice Choo-choo train," then it's not about righting wrongdoings, but picking and choosing who to still protect. That aggravates my spirit. I see nothing wrong with making your paper, but not by picking and choosing at the expense of the innocent. Again, is it entertaining? For me it was right up to this interview. The extra stuttering over the hard questions, the teasers about buying the book in anticipation of a documentary just isn't as enjoyable this 3rd or 4th time around for me. This is my opinion, so please don't jump me for it. If you like it, then I love it for you. He brings the ratings and that's good, but I'm getting off at this stop. I support the the reporting/interview, but the story is like a TV series that has gone on too long and franchised itself too thin. In my opinion, "something in the buttermilk ain't clean," to quote my elders, and Bilal's energy felt off this time around for me.

You right about the publicity, but the way it's worded makes it seem as though it can't be bought because it's being seized. I'm tired of them playing on Tasha's top like this. But like Katt Williams said, paraphrasing, "If you have 10 haters today, you need to work on how to get 50 more by the end of the week!" 🤣 😂
