DISCLAIMER: I'M NOT TRYING TO START NOTHING AND I DON'T WANT TO HEAR ABOUT WHAT HAPPENED!

Greetings Wino Family! I came off of my social media hiatus refreshed and salivating for our next Zoom. I started catching up on Tasha via YouTube and skipped into the app to watch the corresponding, uncensored version and tried to read some of the community board only to find that we're on punishment!?!? I really don't want to know what happened. I think by now that everyone knows hearing my sisters, brothers, aunties, uncles, cousins, etc, has helped me heal and kept me encouraged, entertained, and loved on from afar. This was more than a community to me...this felt like the big once a year family reunion that you look forward to except it was every week and I didn't have to dress up. I don't speak to everyone but I loved the way we spoke about different things and the way my mind expanded just listening to all of you.

Then I heard TKLIVE (Tasha) fell ill and I wanted her to hear my voice saying that I've been praying for her. I wanted everyone to hear how hard I've been working with OT and Speech Therapy because all of you fill me with light, love, and energy. Because of ALL of you, I'm almost back to my normal voice. I wanted to thank y'all personally with my non-scratchy voice that's at least 88-90% better, but I can't. I missed my family and I come back to no Zoom and no feeling of closeness. I just want to know can we fix it. I don't want to hear nothing but solutions and promises to be better because I miss y'all and I'm sad. So, Cheick and TKL TKLIVE can this be salvaged where our love can once again be heard on varying topics that starts with a jumbled, "Hey Tasha, hey Mods, hey Winos"? I promise to pour light and positivity into the space, and be more involved than previously if need be. I know I'm old, or older than maybe the majority, but y'all kept me young. I'm beseeching, not begging and if the answer is no, I'll accept it, grudgingly, but with understanding. TO EVERY WINO I MISS AND LOVE Y'ALL EVEN IF WE DON'T HAVE A MORE PERSONAL CONNECTION. I put that in all caps so that all of you know that came from my bone marrow and spirit, and that I stand 10 toes down on that! OK, I'm going back to the front porch on my rocking chair and pray Mrs. Clara sits down quietly beside me hopefully one day soon, and say, "Honeychile what are we gonna do with them folks down dere by the basketball courts whooping and hollering playing that loud music that's gonna make 'em deaf by 18," as she passes me a cold glass of fresh lemonade. On that day I'll know ALL is well. Peace, light, and blessings Family, one Wino to another. Always Elder Born2Speak, because today for the 1st time in a long time, I feel old all the way down to my bones. πŸ™πŸΎ πŸ’–

Caution Advised-May Be A Trigger Warning

Greetings my Wino Family! I just wanted to give you guys an update. I had to go back into the hospital this past Tuesday. Now don't forget I was just in there but they couldn't find anything wrong. So I went home feeling alright but not back to the vicinity of my normal. I suffered for a few days and over this past weekend, and finally had enough! I drove further out and went to a different hospital system and they immediately found out that I had 2, and I mean TWO, kidney stones 19 mm or more each. My kidney and surrounding organs were so infected that I had emergency surgery yesterday (Wednesday) morning to add a stent to my left kidney to allow the infection and clots to be removed and/or drained. The next part makes zero sense to me!

Now, I get to go home, in pain, urinating blood clots and blood with my urine. But then, insert fanfare music🎢 here, in approximately 7-8 days, I get to go through outpatient surgery and have the 2 very large, and extremely painful stones removed surgically the same way they put in the stent, which will aggravate the same area a 2nd time, causing more scar tissue, blood clots, and bleeding. Why they didn't just remove the kidney stones during the 1st surgery is anyone's guess, but to me, it seems like a money grab. Just pray that your wino sister, aunty, cousin, friend, etc, gets out of this in 1 piece, because Mrs. Pollyanna is depleted emotionally and physically, plus a heffa is trying to stay hydrated but some of my electrolytes are way too low. The crazy thing is that my WBC was normal and my body showed zero signs of infection until the surgeon went in.

It's 9:15 am my time, and I'm praying that I shall be loosed upon the world between noon and 2 pm!...even if it's only to my own home. I'm praying that everyone has a wonderful day, be kind to one another, and be the blessing you want reflected in your direction. Let love lead and guide you!!

Peace and blessings,

~Born

Hey Wino brothers and sisters! I just watched Monday's zoom and I loved it! It was refreshing to hear everyone's thoughts on mental health. However, because of what I'm going through in my health, I come to our wonderful community to be uplifted from my own dark space. I enjoyed the diversion because it brought the truth to light with the facts. Like sister Sully said in the zoom, I girded myself to listen to the facts without my emotions involved and I learned something, for which I'm grateful. So it got me to thinking that maybe I'm resistant to change because I feel like I don't have as much control in my life at the moment.

So, TKLIVE whatever direction you take the platform, with integrity and honesty, true Winos will support you.πŸ‘πŸ½ πŸ‘πŸΎ I miss talking to you guys although I'm sure some of you don't miss hearing my voice, but I am in the zooms. 🀣 πŸ˜‚ And to my Wino brothers and sisters that know my story, please continue to pray for me. I hate to hear that this is Tasha's last year to tour because her last tour, I had surgery and this tour, my body is too weak to travel. I hate that I won't be able to see my family face-to-face and embrace all of you with love, peace, and light and receive it in kind. You all kept me sane while I've been in the hospital even if none of you knew it and I'm sooooo very grateful. Please remember to love on each other as we are because we ARE a family! Have fun and enjoy the tour and have a big belly laugh for me. Peace and blessings!! ~Born

Greetings Winos! I know it's been a minute since I've "spoken" but I've been here. I just wanted to speak on some wonderful news...My beautiful grandmother just celebrated her 104th birthday this week!! I'm so thankful and grateful that The Creator has shared an Angel with me for this length of time because she has been the best 'mother' to me all these many years! Please help me lift a prayer of appreciation into the universe so that God will continue to bless her with health, family, and love! The things she has seen come into fruition that we take for granted is astounding to me and I'm beyond grateful and amazed. Any strength I have to walk my earthly path has been instilled in me from her being integrated in my DNA. I AM TRULY BLESSED!!!!

Louisiana has just made homelessness a crime. Some of the "ruby" states are now pushing the same bill through before the next general elections that have thinned the minority vote down with redistricting. Check on your elderly and disabled family and friends. 2 years in jail is a high price to pay because you can't afford to keep up with a dwindling economy. Most people focus their attention on presidential elections, but your local elections are just as important, if not more so! Just remember this before you judge someone else: Everyone is just 1 layoff or major illness away from being homeless. Spirit Airlines is one of the latest examples, but major corporations are struggling to keep their doors open too. The programs that were in place to help with a recession or major catastrophic event have been gutted and dismantled. We need to take care of each other! 😳

---Unsolicited Update---

I forgot to mention that the Sea Moss and Oil of Oregano at shoptkdeals are what kept me healthy enough to make it through my surgery. My doctor said that if I wouldn't have been taking the Sea Moss, I wouldn't have made it. Thank you Tasha K for having such wonderful products for homeopathic care. Keep lifting and elevating us to be our most healthy selves. Love ❀️ you!

Hi Wino Family. I had my surgery on November 13th and made the 4 hr drive home on the 18th. I had an irreversible ileostomy w/ a stoma, and during the surgery, they had to fix 2 herniated places in my stomach, and they found out that my Hashimoto Thyroiditis has gotten worse. I'm still having trouble speaking because of the tube, and I'm weak because I was on a liguid diet for just shy of 2 months before my surgery, but every day I'm becoming better... I was able to walk to the the restroom using my rolator yesterday! I just wanted to give an update and let all of you know how much I've missed you. #Wino4Life #HealthIsWealth #PrΓ yerWorks

Hey Wino Family πŸ‘‹πŸΎ! I miss y'all. I laughed so hard at Tasha's Winoween video yesterday that my cheeks STILL hurt 🀣! I'm just slipping in to say congratulations to all who have been sharing wonderful moments on the community board, and prayers for those that need them. Whether you know it or not, your happy energy spreads outward and encompasses everyone. And to the rest, just know that you're never alone.

I was sitting in my corner of the universe this past Thursday and a feeling of gratitude enveloped me so I decided to share a song. A few years back, a wonderful soul walked onstage to compete on AGT as I was finishing my chemo treatments. I generally don't watch commercial talent shows, but that particular night I happened to turn it on and saw Nightbirde (Jane) perform "It's Ok." I have never forgotten her performance or her inspiring words, "You can't wait until life isn't hard anymore, until you decide to be happy."

I was already on my path to becoming a Pollyanna, so that was confirmation that the world is full of people who choose to be kind and loving every day and tackle obstacles that would buckle others. Those that know of her already, know what became of her. I was sad and didn't understand, and didn't watch another episode...Until. Once again, I just happened to turn on the TV and saw a young, African choir in all white (IYKYK), on the stage and tuned in. Then I heard a melodious version of "It's OK!" I never watched another episode again and didn't need to.

The Creator gives us confirmations all the time that show us that we're exactly where we're supposed to be despite our present circumstances, and/or because of our blessings. I don't know why the song in my link showed up on YouTube's algorithm for me today, especially since I've rarely been on the phone, but it did and I'm grateful! May it resonate with you and fill you with peace. While you're there, if you feel like it, look up her audition on AGT and listen to know that the universe loves you and so do I! See ya later.

An update about my quietness and surgery date... They tried to break yo girl!

Hey Winos. I have been MISSING your energy ✨️! So I'll just get right into it. The surgery to have my large intestine removed is November 13th, and I had my last pre-op appointment this past Friday. Because of my other health conditions, and the type of surgery, I have to be on a liguid diet for the next 30 days. My husband and I are pushing forward, although the hospital is 4 hrs away and our fr-amily support group doesn't live in our state. I will have a permanent stoma and we asked about home related services once I'm released. As of this year, that assistance may no longer be available due to the multiple changes in the healthcare "industry". I've been dealing with the logistics of everything because his role in all of this begins after my release from the hospital. I may be a Pollyanna but I'm strong πŸ’ͺ🏾. So I decided to ask my insurance why I might not be eligible to get the initial help once I get home, and the reply was, "Due to recent changes, you're not deemed viable," in a flat monotone. VIABLE?? Apparently, because of my recent health challenges (the new dystrophy diagnosis that they've postponed testing for because I started drastically losing weight accompanied by extreme pain and fatigue that turned out to be my colon dying), I'm not worthy of maintenance healthcare.

This story is twofold. First, please don't ignore your health and/or new symptoms you may be experiencing. Since I have lupus and scleroderma, I thought I was just in a flare. It turned out to be way more serious. And secondly, if you're disabled, they now have an algorithm that determines your worthiness, as a human being, of receiving continued healthcare. I recently found out that the stoma groups in my area have been dismantled due to budget cuts, so there are little to no resources available to figure out aftercare or how to deal with your emotions after such a life changing surgery. But the worst part of all of this is to hear that I'm not a viable person in this country. I'm not gonna lie, that almost broke my spirit until I REMEMBERED that I'm more than worthy to occupy space. So, I'm going to chronicle daily, as much as physically possible, to help those in my area who are new to this process in the current health paradigm we're living in. I'm thinking about how just last year, I took for granted the different services and options that were in my small community that are no longer here. I don't know if I'll be of help. I only know that I have to try.

I always try to encourage people who are around me even as I hide in shadows. And to that extent, I want to remind everyone to be kind to one another. You never know what someone is going through or how their life experiences are affecting them. I don't want anyone to just exist in silence because it's safe in your cocoon. I ask questions because I'm a novice in the homeopathic spaces, so if anyone has any suggestions please feel free to comment. With that in mind, I will probably be a part of the #ReplayGang for awhile as I meditate to get my mind right for the healing process to come. I going to miss all of your chat comments that cause me to slide out my seat and howl with laughter. But most of all that electric energy once the Wino theme starts to play at the beginning of the lives! Take care of yourselves and each other. I just want to do my job 1 mo time that I was given on our last call: Cheick, Tasha K said, "CALL THE LAWYER!" πŸ‘€ Whoo, that felt good!! 🀣
