I love y'all just as much! Thank you for providing a safe space for open discussion on topics that affect us, but in an intimate setting. And chile, if folks don't want to participate in the activities, don't apologize for adding something new. Hear me? Keep doing what The Creator puts in your soul to do.

It WAS good! I got off the zoom, kissed my hubby while he slept (he works long hours) and cuddled HIM 🤣.

It is definitely worth the watch with your hubby. It will provoke conversation and honesty in communication.

The Creator made that happen and I'm grateful to get to know my DMV sis-star! You keep me on my toes and check up on me and for that I'm grateful! I pray that I enrich your life just as you've added to mine. Only on Tasha K! I love it here!!

***From my desk in Pollyanna World 🌎***

I attended my 1st zoom meeting tonight on the topics of marriage and relationships, and I must say I thoroughly enjoyed it. It was amazing to hear different perspectives on the pros and cons and how everyone views the roles that both men and women play. It was insightful, thought-provoking, and at times, sad to hear the trials and tribulations that many of us are going through. I enjoyed the different experiences and the way some have drawn their lines in the sand and know exactly what they want and won’t tolerate anything less. There was a lesson and knowledge for everyone at every stage of our lives. We were honest, and that was the beauty of it all. I won’t lie and say it’s not past my self-imposed bedtime, but it was worth attending it, and I look forward to more in the future. I know that we come for the gossip, but this was truly about building community and learning each other as winos. My greatest takeaway was to be thankful and grateful for my marriage. It was humbling and gave me appreciation for all that I have. This zoom taught me to not take for granted what my husband and I have worked hard to achieve. I don’t think that I would survive this new age of dating, so I’m thankful for all of you that participated tonight. Thanks again Okiemute Esiekpe for ensuring that my behind attended, and thank you beautiful Winos for your vulnerability and honesty. My continued hope is that EVERYONE finds the companion of their heart’s dreams in whatever form that may take. Stay encouraged and know that you ARE the blessing!!

I wasn’t being sarcastic seriously. I didn’t hear them say her name in the video. If it was her and I missed it then my bad.

I remember my mom fussing at me years ago for doing the same thing. I listened to her telling me how she left the south and raised me up north (when she had physical custody), how much she paid for private education so I didn't have to cater to a man...the whole spiel. To which I calmly replied, "Yes, you did all of those things. However, my 20 year marriage (at the time) has lasted longer than your 2 marriages combined. One day my husband will remember these moments," and kept fixing his plate. Now, 10 years later, he hand prepares my food, even down to my desserts, and is repaying the love and respect I showed him then, now that I'm ill. A great man will remember and repay it 10 fold. Dish his 🍽 sis! Southern souls understand and concur!!

Are you talking about the lady in the black fishnet type outfit?🤔 Not that I've met her personally or anything, but she only favors her to me. They're all starting to look alike. I just didn’t think it looked like her. Not sticking up for her.
