Under a doctor's care of course, instead of just taking medication you can safely fast to reverse/control diabetes. These days it's not how much you eat it's what you eat. I have retarded digestive issues and I have phases where I just want to drink...to offset the sugar intake I munch on Special K or Cheerios, the grains.
