Having been sexually abused at 6 years old, there are things that I still remember after many, many years of therapy. I'll NEVER forget his outfit, how he smelled like stale cigarettes and liquor, his nails were long and disgustingly dirty, etc. I could even tell you the rooms at my grandma's house it happened in, the furniture placement, etc.
While we should always allow for a victim to speak, I don't condone lying, especially not about this. Real people, especially kids, are truly being used and this woman is out here giving them a bad name. It's bad enough they always retraumatize the victim because they always question us to see if we're telling the truth.
The situation with Monique and her son is so sad. This is years of generational abuse. So sad, especially within our community. I'm happy he spoke his truth because her husband should not speak on her child. Glad her son gave a goodt read.
I'm watching this now for the first time. This shit crazy. This is a great interview Tasha. Thanks for getting us the wine. Hazel looks really good! She lost a lot of weight and is on her glow up. Keep up the good work. Boss bitches runnin shit :-)
