replay gang ... DMV resident, um, yea, DC doesn't have any Waffle Houses; the closest one is in VA, at least 20 miles on the other side of the bridge. IHOP at best, but I don't think there are any IHOPs in the city but not 24/7 due to location. Check Old Ebbit Grill or Ben's Chili Bowl. Both are small dives with decent food just not Waffle House prices.

not defending any rudeness, but, imo, i think she became tired of carrying the entire family. its a lot to care for a parent, then to add siblings, nieces/nephews, aunts, grandparent(s), its a lot. as a caregiver, there are days/weeks where you say, "i want to stop being the adult". plus she dealt with a bad marriage and raising kids. its a lot to expect her to carry everything for everybody.

I really enjoyed his interview.
