Hey, what’s up, Tasha and winos! I’m watching the replay on YouTube now from last night and I just had to write this to thank you so much for talking about mental health when you were talking about Kanye West. Just to share a bit of what I’ve been going through for the past few years now, my husband is a combat veteran and has been struggling with mental health illnesses since 2020 and it has escalated over the past couple of years. 

It’s been hard & has been a lot of scary moments. Mania, suicidal tendencies and attempts, depression, psychotic breaks, you name it. I’ve experienced it and it has been a lot to deal with. I’m so grateful for Tasha and the space that she has created because this has really been a saving grace for me. I’m so thankful because right now as I speak my husband has returned to work and it’s been a couple of weeks now. He hasn’t been able to work since 11/23 and he’s been in and out of the hospital and a few times involuntarily. I’ve cried A LOT not knowing what’s next and at times feeling like I didn’t know him anymore. 

When I saw that clip of his documentary, and saw Kim Kardashian, crying and saying the things that she said to him, I literally felt that! I don’t even rock with the Kardashians like that, never followed them, but you don’t have to like someone or anything like that to have compassion and understand what they’re going through Especially when you can relate to their situation. 

Last year when you had the wino tour I knew it was gonna be hard for me to come to a show but our son took the time to come and stay with him while I came to Charlotte. That was one of the best times I had last year ‘cause 2024 was hell 🔥 for me. 

Yes mental health issues are real and many people can’t understand that. Unless you have a stroke, brain cancer, a brain bleed or brain aneurysm they don’t get it about brain health and how illnesses can affect your actions.

Anyway, thanks for that and even though I cried a little bit while you were talking the TS Madison shade right after literally made me lmao 🤣 We gotta laugh to keep from crying. Thanks Tasha, Peaches and all the winos for your prayers. 

Thank you to Tk for mentioning my GoFundMe me ❤️. Basically my husband mother had a heart attack and went into cardiac arrest which caused her to stop breathing. She was without oxygen for over 30 minutes due to EMTs waiting on NYCHA elevator to come and she lived on the 13th floor. They did not provide CPR right away nor did they have the right equipment which forced them to have more of a delay because they had to wait on paramedics to come help the EMTs. Due to lack of oxygen for a substantial amount of time she was diagnosed with Anoxic Brain Injury & is currently in a persistent vegetative state. She never regained consciousness since her cardiac episode on March 11,2025. She is currently married to my husband father but they were estranged for 20 years ( he lived in another state with another woman and multiple outside children and history or Dv towards her and the 8 children they shared all legally documented) She would have not wanted him to make any medical decisions (stated in a video 2 weeks prior to this incident when she was in Virginia Hospital ICU due to having a heart attack and required a stint to be put in) for her nor appoint anyone to make those decisions for her. My husband was able to file a emergency injunction on March 17 2025 to have a restraining order to prevent his father from making medical decisions for his mother and against NYC Health & Hospitals to stop the hospital from removing his mother from the ventilator and give his siblings time to make a decision regarding their mother care. The Stay was granted on his behalf for both but his father put two of his siblings who had strained relationships with his mother but was cool with him over her care as surrogates and his mother would have not wanted that. So he is in the process of going for POA as well Gurdianship but we are a low income family who is currently having housing issues ourselves (currently in a family shelter) so money is very low (I work & my husband was I injured on the job so he’s currently on worker’s compensation) & this is a case that can run anywhere from $4500-20000(prices I was quoted). There is no legal aide to help with this and lawyers who do offer pro-bono services so not offer them for these types of cases. His next court date is 9/11/2025 and there is decisions that need to be made and having a lawyer by then will really work in his favor (he is going up against Millions Dollar hospital lawyers and he has no legal knowledge and the little I know from being in school currently has come to an end). This has been a very emotional and traumatizing experience for my husband and his family. Thank you in advance winos 🍷🍷 & If you can’t give monetarily a share goes a long way. Thank you🙏🏾
