When you’re postpartum, your nervous system is in survival mode: fight or flight. When your brain is in survival mode, it shuts down executive function, meaning you are living moment to moment (in sheer survival) and not considering future factors. 🍷 She was in a more vulnerable state, and instead of her husband taking a lead role and saying hey, I’m going to give my wife some time, he made the choice to keep making babies. 🍷 It’s still giving he’s sabotaging her or trying to conquer/humble her.
