Hey Wino Family 👋🏾! I miss y'all. I laughed so hard at Tasha's Winoween video yesterday that my cheeks STILL hurt 🤣! I'm just slipping in to say congratulations to all who have been sharing wonderful moments on the community board, and prayers for those that need them. Whether you know it or not, your happy energy spreads outward and encompasses everyone. And to the rest, just know that you're never alone.
I was sitting in my corner of the universe this past Thursday and a feeling of gratitude enveloped me so I decided to share a song. A few years back, a wonderful soul walked onstage to compete on AGT as I was finishing my chemo treatments. I generally don't watch commercial talent shows, but that particular night I happened to turn it on and saw Nightbirde (Jane) perform "It's Ok." I have never forgotten her performance or her inspiring words, "You can't wait until life isn't hard anymore, until you decide to be happy."
I was already on my path to becoming a Pollyanna, so that was confirmation that the world is full of people who choose to be kind and loving every day and tackle obstacles that would buckle others. Those that know of her already, know what became of her. I was sad and didn't understand, and didn't watch another episode...Until. Once again, I just happened to turn on the TV and saw a young, African choir in all white (IYKYK), on the stage and tuned in. Then I heard a melodious version of "It's OK!" I never watched another episode again and didn't need to.
The Creator gives us confirmations all the time that show us that we're exactly where we're supposed to be despite our present circumstances, and/or because of our blessings. I don't know why the song in my link showed up on YouTube's algorithm for me today, especially since I've rarely been on the phone, but it did and I'm grateful! May it resonate with you and fill you with peace. While you're there, if you feel like it, look up her audition on AGT and listen to know that the universe loves you and so do I! See ya later.

Hey WINO BOO! I'm doing alright over here. I'd be back in my H.S. clothes if I didn't get shapely over the years, so that's a positive...Retail Therapy bay-bay! The hubby already ordering outfits and he promised 1/day after I come home. Blessings on top of Blessings on top of, etc. Thank you for turning my mood around on that live, and for your encouragement now. Prayers and thoughtfulness matter, and you and others always understand the assignment. Bless you for that. 9 day countdown and this blip on the radar will be over and I'll be on the road to recovery. I'm going to try and be with you guys for this Phuckery Friday. I can't have Tasha popping my stitches after the 13th 🤣!! I'll have my sister log on to let everyone know everything went well.
