Hey sis! Thanks boo. I love an outfit with a dramatic flair. I wish I was able to be standing so you could see that the top was asymmetrical at the bottom just like hairstyles I grew up with. Remember, "bamboo earrings, at least 2 pairs!" 🤣 😂 Miss your laugh, sis-star. 🤗 & 💖

Hey luv. Thanks for the encouragement and support! I love a good prayer and spiritual warriors. God is The Creator and Author of my life and I truly believe my story is still being written. I've been through, and overcome too much, not to know that there's a guiding force through the chaos loose in this world. From my family to yours, we send love and blessings! Thank you 💝🍷

Hey boo! Thank you so much! I know you've been taking your role in the live #cutupcrew seriously 🤣 I miss y'all! 🤗

I appreciate the support and information. I looked up what you told me and was pleasantly surprised that they do offer those services in my area. Although it's too late to reschedule, I now have something in my arsenal to help others, so thank you! 🤗

***From My Desk in Pollyanna World 🌎***

An update about my quietness and surgery date... They tried to break yo girl!

Hey Winos. I have been MISSING your energy ✨️! So I'll just get right into it. The surgery to have my large intestine removed is November 13th, and I had my last pre-op appointment this past Friday. Because of my other health conditions, and the type of surgery, I have to be on a liguid diet for the next 30 days. My husband and I are pushing forward, although the hospital is 4 hrs away and our fr-amily support group doesn't live in our state. I will have a permanent stoma and we asked about home related services once I'm released. As of this year, that assistance may no longer be available due to the multiple changes in the healthcare "industry". I've been dealing with the logistics of everything because his role in all of this begins after my release from the hospital. I may be a Pollyanna but I'm strong 💪🏾. So I decided to ask my insurance why I might not be eligible to get the initial help once I get home, and the reply was, "Due to recent changes, you're not deemed viable," in a flat monotone. VIABLE?? Apparently, because of my recent health challenges (the new dystrophy diagnosis that they've postponed testing for because I started drastically losing weight accompanied by extreme pain and fatigue that turned out to be my colon dying), I'm not worthy of maintenance healthcare.

This story is twofold. First, please don't ignore your health and/or new symptoms you may be experiencing. Since I have lupus and scleroderma, I thought I was just in a flare. It turned out to be way more serious. And secondly, if you're disabled, they now have an algorithm that determines your worthiness, as a human being, of receiving continued healthcare. I recently found out that the stoma groups in my area have been dismantled due to budget cuts, so there are little to no resources available to figure out aftercare or how to deal with your emotions after such a life changing surgery. But the worst part of all of this is to hear that I'm not a viable person in this country. I'm not gonna lie, that almost broke my spirit until I REMEMBERED that I'm more than worthy to occupy space. So, I'm going to chronicle daily, as much as physically possible, to help those in my area who are new to this process in the current health paradigm we're living in. I'm thinking about how just last year, I took for granted the different services and options that were in my small community that are no longer here. I don't know if I'll be of help. I only know that I have to try.

I always try to encourage people who are around me even as I hide in shadows. And to that extent, I want to remind everyone to be kind to one another. You never know what someone is going through or how their life experiences are affecting them. I don't want anyone to just exist in silence because it's safe in your cocoon. I ask questions because I'm a novice in the homeopathic spaces, so if anyone has any suggestions please feel free to comment. With that in mind, I will probably be a part of the #ReplayGang for awhile as I meditate to get my mind right for the healing process to come. I going to miss all of your chat comments that cause me to slide out my seat and howl with laughter. But most of all that electric energy once the Wino theme starts to play at the beginning of the lives! Take care of yourselves and each other. I just want to do my job 1 mo time that I was given on our last call: Cheick, Tasha K said, "CALL THE LAWYER!" 👀 Whoo, that felt good!! 🤣

This broke my heart. We’re losing our R&B and NeoSoul artists left and right and it feels like we lost an era.

Jade I'm with you sis! We need Hazel E back in the Wine Cellar 🍷

Mary McSingleton Like a kid with money in his pocket on the way to the candy store! If true, you can't be an oracle of truth if skeletons are fighting to break free from your OWN closet. I can't wait to watch the follow up by Tasha.

Rethadine You could be right. Or maybe his jail time reinforced the trauma already there...The world may never know. If it did happen because of Katt, or anyone for that matter, it's just heartbreaking.
